Terms & Conditions

By accessing Zest Pilates studio or website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of use, which, together with our privacy policy, govern Zest Pilates’ relationship with you in relation to the website and studio. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or client of our studio and website. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to periodically check our website for updates. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, please refrain from using our website or attending our studio.  

STUDIO TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please review these Terms and Conditions before booking a class at Zest Pilates. By registering as a client, you agree to these terms, which are also available on our website.  

Inclusive Environment: Zest Pilates is a welcoming and inclusive space. Discrimination or behaviour that creates a hostile environment will not be tolerated.  

Class Schedule: While we aim to deliver all classes as scheduled, they may be subject to change or cancellation without notice. No refunds, transfers, or compensation will be offered for missed, late, or cancelled classes.  

Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the class starts.

Waitlist: If a class is full, you can join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will be automatically added to the class and notified.  

Class Minimums: A minimum of two clients is required for a class to proceed. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified, and the session will be credited back to your account.  

Cancellations: You must cancel or reschedule classes at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeited credits.  

Non-Transferable Sessions: Sessions cannot be shared or transferred to another person.  

Photos & Videos: Photos and videos may be taken during classes for social media and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform the instructor at the start of the class.

BOOKING & PAYMENTS

– Bookings must be made via our website or designated app. We do not accept bookings or payments via phone, email, or in person.  

– To secure a spot in a class, you must have sufficient credit in your account or pay at the time of booking.  

– All purchases are final. Refunds, transfers, or extensions are not available for change of mind, address, or other reasons unless explicitly stated.  

STUDIO USE

– Zest Pilates is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings during your visit.  

– Clients must follow instructor guidance when using reformers or other equipment. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the class.  

INJURY & LIABILITY

– Participation in classes is voluntary, and clients acknowledge the physical nature of reformer Pilates.  

– Zest Pilates is not liable for any injury, loss of property, or other incidents resulting from attendance at the studio.  

CANCELLATION POLICY

– Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the class start time to avoid losing the session credit.  

– Exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness with a medical certificate, hospitalization, or bereavement) may allow for exceptions.  

⁃ Fluctuations in traffic/day-to-day work/school/social/family schedules do not constitute and are not considered exceptional circumstances.

NO SHOWS 

– Clients who book but fail to attend a class without prior cancellation will forfeit the session credit.  

PRICING & REFUNDS

– All prices are quoted in NZD and include GST. Prices may change without prior notice.  

– Refunds are not provided unless services are not delivered. Extensions may be considered for medical reasons with supporting documentation.  

CLASS PASSES & MEMBERSHIPS  

– Passes and memberships are valid for a specific duration and cannot be shared or refunded.  

– Clients must use credits within the designated period; unused credits may not be carried forward beyond the allowed time.  

WAITLIST  

– Joining the waitlist implies commitment to the class. If you are added to a class within 12 hours of the start time and cancel, it will count as a late cancellation.  

PRIVACY POLICY  

At Zest Pilates, we are committed to protecting your personal information and ensuring your privacy. By using our website, booking system, or attending our studio, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy.  

INFORMATION COLLECTION & USE  

We may collect the following personal information to manage your bookings, provide services, and enhance your experience:  

– Name  

– Contact information, including email address and phone number  

– Date of birth  

– Emergency contact person and details  

– Payment information, including bank account and/or credit card details  

– Payment history  

– Demographic information such as postcode, preferences, and interests  

– Other information relevant to customer surveys, promotions, and offers  

This information is collected directly from you through online forms, our booking system, or in-studio interactions.  

However, please note:  

– The transmission of information over the internet is not completely secure or error-free.  

– Emails sent to or from our website, email address, or booking system may not be fully secure. Please exercise caution when sharing sensitive information via email.  

THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT SYSTEM

Zest Pilates uses a secure third-party payment provider (e.g., Stripe) to process payments. Your payment details are stored and managed by this provider in accordance with their security protocols. Zest Pilates does not store your credit card information.
